Nitrogen generator for CCV line used for HT cable manufacturing

MVS has supplied 2 x 100 m3/hr Nitrogen Gas Plant to a very reputed HT electrical cable manufacturer in Western India.

Nitrogen is used in their CCV line for curing the cable in the catenary tube. Nitrogen under pressure and temperature allows cross-linking of the cable and is also used in subsequent cooling.

These high purity Nitrogen generators by MVS Engineering Ltd are supplied with high pressure nitrogen boosters and high pressure storage bullets.

Customer has procured Nitrogen Gas Plant from MVS of following specifications:

Technology: PSA Nitrogen Technology

Capacity: 100 NM3 /hr each (2 Nos.)

Application: CCV line (H.T. cable manufacturing)

MVS has supplied more than 25 Nitrogen Plants for CCV application to several companies in India, Asia and Middle-East. From an on-site Nitrogen generator, Nitrogen is produced at 5 to 7 bar pressure and thereafter Nitrogen pressure is boosted by a Booster compressor to 25 bar pressure and Nitrogen is stored in high pressure tanks for intermediate buffer storage.

The curing process needs continuous Nitrogen supply at 12 to 15-Bar pressure. MVS has successfully supplied high pressure Nitrogen generators for these requirements.
