Proton S-Series Hydrogen Generator (Up to 1 NM3/hr)
While the technology used in Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM in short) was developed in the 1950's, Proton OnSite founders successfully commercialized it in 1990's and more than 1500 PEM Hydrogen Generators have been supplied worldwide, including many satisfied customers in India. PEM process completely eliminates the hazardous chemicals involved in traditional alkaline based systems. Instead, the electrolysis process is facilitated by a conductive membrane.

    These units are fully packaged (every image on this page is a complete Hydrogen Generator requiring only DM Water and utility connections) and have a very small footprint and can be easily installed even in the tightest of spaces on your shop floor or process area.

    Safe-Area Installation
    Unlike other Hydrogen Generators, Proton HOGEN® Hydrogen Generators can be installed in Safe-Area and thus eliminating costly civil works and expensive hazardous area lighting, instrumentation, motors etc.

    Ultra-High Purity
    HOGEN® units produce purity of 99.9995% without the need for an additional purification system. The only impurity is water vapor which is removed by an in-built dryer.

    Safety
    No hazardous chemicals to handle or top-up. The membrane used in these systems is safe to touch.
