Onsite Oxygen Generation Plants Available In Orissa and Jharkhand

COVID patients need more respiratory support, which is not easily available in rural or semi-urban areas. Thus, MVS Engineering Pvt. Ltd has collaborated with Tata Steel Foundation to provide these Onsite Oxygen Generation Systems to patients suffering from breathing problems in backward regions. This company supplies Oxygen Generators that produce fresh and pure oxygen for hospital use so that patients do not need to suffer from the lack of oxygen when they need it most.

Tata Steel Foundation has Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for multiple hospitals in Eastern India. Some of these hospitals are run by the local government, and the Tata Group also runs a few hospitals. MVS Engineering has installed onsite oxygen generation plants at these hospitals as a part of its collaboration with Tata Steel. Each plant can supply oxygen to 170 beds in a hospital. These Medical oxygen generators have a production capacity of 833 LPM or 50 Nm3/hr (each).

Siddharth Rastogi, the Executive Director of MVS Engineering, said that his company is very glad to collaborate with Tata Steel Foundation in setting up onsite oxygen plants at hospitals in this region. Since many poor people are living here, they will be highly benefitted from these oxygen plants, as cylinders or tanks full of liquid oxygen are too costly nowadays. Moreover, the huge demand for oxygen during the second wave of COVID-19 made oxygen cylinders more expensive and out of reach for many common people. The unavailability of oxygen had already claimed many lives during this pandemic situation.

The installation of oxygen plants at hospitals will prevent such unfortunate incidents in the future. Patients will always receive oxygen as long as they need it for respiratory support. The steady supply of oxygen will also be a boon for patients suffering from various cardiovascular problems, mainly when they need surgery. Hence, MVS Engineering is looking forward to cooperating with Tata Steel Foundation in setting up such oxygen plants in more hospitals in the near future.
