Oxygen Plant Functioning Helps in Bulk Oxygen Production

Many industries need large quantities of oxygen for different stages of production. The medical field also needs oxygen to save the lives of numerous patients. MVS Engineering Pvt. Ltd offers PSA oxygen generators to all clients, to meet all their requirements. The oxygen plant functioning method fits in all environments of industries and healthcare centers. Easy installation and low maintenance of this oxygen generator are important factors that encourage clients to opt for this device.

Simple operations of an automated oxygen generator

MVS Engineering applies Pressure Swing Adsorption technology in creating the fully automated oxygen plant. Atmospheric air containing 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen, and 1% other gases is passed through different parts, to receive pure oxygen.

Air compressor and dryer –
The air compressor of an oxygen plant resembles a screw where atmospheric air is compressed under huge pressure. A refrigeration dryer is associated with this compressor, to eliminate all traces of water vapor from the air passing through it.

Oil filters –
These fused filters are used to absorb oil particles from the air. In this way, the oil content of the air can be reduced to 0.001 ppm that will help in all industrial applications of oxygen.

Oxygen generating tower –
A large chamber is filled with Zeolite, a chemical substance that can absorb nitrogen gas from the air. It is fitted with a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and in-built HMI panel, to monitor the continuous absorption of nitrogen gas. When the molecular sieves get saturated with nitrogen, this gas is released back into the atmosphere. Pure oxygen is collected in a buffer tank after it comes out through a pipe.

Automatic switch panel –
If the purity level of the produced oxygen gas drops below 90%, the production stops automatically. A switch panel is provided in the oxygen plant system, to automatically direct the oxygen supply to the backup cylinders where pure oxygen is stored for emergency. This backup oxygen is also useful if the oxygen plant functioning stops due to sudden power failure.
